How to Root YU Yureka Lollipop Cm12! Twrp 64bit

WHY DO WE NEED TO ROOT OUR DEVICES???

We love Android, but rooting your phone can give you the opportunity to do so much more than your phone can do out of the box.
Rooting, for those of you that don’t know, means giving yourself root permissions on your phone. It’s similar running programs as 'administrators' in Windows, or running a command with 'sudo' in linux. With a rooted phone, you can run apps that require access to certain system settings, as well as flash custom ROMs to your phone, which add all sorts of extra features.

SO LET'S GET STARTED!!!!

Getting prepared...

Download all the necessary files required to root your device.Links to all the files are given below.

  1. Yu yureka root files.zip- http://goo.gl/KVEZdL
  2. adb setup-http://goo.gl/fHDObf
  3. ui.zip-http://goo.gl/Mx7Hbd
  4. Update supersu-http://goo.gl/FrhUkv

Once done downloading ,now we're ready to have some root access.

  • Copy  the downloaded ui.zip & paste it in the internal storage\TWRP\themes.
  • Now copy the UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip directly in the internal storage of your yu-yureka.

  • Copy & paste the first command mentioned above in the command prompt & hit enter.
  • Now the bootloader is unlocked.
  • Switch on your phone and redo the steps mentioned above under setting up.

Installing TWRP recovery.

  • Once the phone boots into the bootloader again,GO to the extracted folder and again press shift+right click .Click on Open command window here under the right click menu.
